I have been in Mountain View for over two months looking for a place to get a good curry. My favorite is Korma and it turns out that you can’t find it down here at all! In Toronto this is a very easy dish to find. I went to Shivas and ordered the Rogan Josh. Much to my delight, it turns out that I like Rogan Josh as much as I like Korma. I did some quick research and discovered that Rogan Josh originates from Korma. This makes me want to investigate Persian and Kashmiri food more in-depth.

image from http://is.gd/1OAIB

I really liked the lamb Rogan Josh that I had tonight and will probably go back for more. The meat was very tender and there was plenty of sauch for my garlic naan bread. The only downside was that people don’t beleive me when I ask for spicy. I asked for very hot, and i got maybe medium at best. One other quirk, the server used the spoon to put a bit of curry on everyone’s plate as the dishes arrived. That is strage!
